Q-ARTcode series

Imagine having a piece of art on your wall that has a hidden meaning.

I have developed a concept that has a hidden message for the viewer. I wanted to make a QR code look beautiful. The work stands on it’s own as a painting and the artwork is linked to a video, or photo, or message or map that is accessible by scanning the painting with your phone. There was a challenge in the painting of it to be so accurate that it stills works as a QR code. (Quick Response Code)

This work is embracing technology and the possibilities it offers. As each QR code is unique, each of these paintings is unique as there is a limitless combination of shapes, colours and patterns.

The city scape works make me think of looking at a city on satellite view, google maps, so I draw in the people going about their day. The sun in the top right is casting shadows, the green represents trees.

I can edit the photo or video link for each painting. You may want it to link to a You Are Loved photo or video. Commissioned pieces can link to a personal video for example a 21st or other special birthday, it could be a video slideshow of photos of that person. I can link your wedding video or travel photos. I make a snappy reel type video from up to 200 supplied photos. The link is only visible to the viewer of the painting.

These prices included one change in the video content at time of purchase. Changes at a later date cost $350

All works are on canvas and framed in a natural wood tray frame. Frames may be coloured or metal leafed for an additional cost.

The possibilities are endless….the link could be to a wedding video, your travel photos, your grandchildren.

The private commissioned works and sold works shown on this page, have had part of the Q-ARTcode screened so the access to the video is not public.
